DIMINISHED OVARIAN RESERVE (DOR)
Diminished ovarian reserve is a condition that compromises woman’s fertility at their mid to late thirties and in young ages as well. in women with DOR, ovary loses its normal reproductive potential hence decreasing the quality and quantity of her oocytes. Aging is the major cause of DOR, but it can be also caused by genetic abnormalities, some medical treatments and injuries. We use hormone test such as AMH and ultrasound to assess ovarian reserve and individualize treatment plan for optimizing success rate. In vitro fertilization using either self-gamete or in very rare scenario donor gamete is the best available treatment option for women with DOR.
Endometriosis is common gynecological condition affection up to 10%of women during their reproductive years. It happens when tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside of the uterus .Endometriosis impairs fertility when associated with tubal or ovarian adhesions. Other symptoms include pelvic pain and menstrual cramps and/or pain during intercourse. We, at Bliss, diagnose endometriosis through physical examination/ultrasound/laparoscopy and offers medical and surgical treatments to reduce symptoms and enhance fertility.
